Awards Night
St. Peter-Kasota Dollars for Scholars awarded 81 scholarships ranging from $500 to $4000 to the St. Peter High School class of 2023 during the annual Senior Awards Program in May. Scholarships are awarded from two main types of funds.
- Our General Funds come from individual contributions to our annual phone-a-thon or other fundraising events. This fund supported scholarships to 31 students and included our St Peter-Kasota Dollars for Scholars Renewable Scholarship of $500 each year for four years.
- In addition, we have several sponsored scholarships where donors have created a scholarship in their name, the name of their business or organization, or in memory of a loved one lost. This year, it has been an honor to work with 39 families, businesses, and organizations to select recipients who meet the criteria they have established based on what they are passionate about.
All total, $66,300 in scholarships were awarded. Congratulations to all our recipients!
